Our client seeks a highly skilled SAP Change Manager specializing in end-user training, communications strategy/planning/execution, and knowledge management. This role will be pivotal in successfully adopting a transformative journey towards a global SAP implementation, transitioning from previous ERP systems to SAP (S4Hana and BPC Global). The ideal candidate will have significant experience in developing and executing effective communications and training plans, particularly within the context of global SAP transformation programs.
Responsibilities:
Training:
- Conceptualize, plan, and develop SAP system user guides and training materials in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and vendor trainers.
- Conduct skills-gap analyses and tailor training content to meet the needs of end-users across different geographies, roles, and functions
- Develop functional and technical training courses, including operational changes and associated policy/process rollouts.
- Coordinate training deployment, including scheduling in-house educational sessions and utilizing e-learning platforms.
- Evaluate learning outcomes and ensure ongoing maintenance of training programs for refresher and new employee onboarding.
- Establish and implement standard methodologies in training and coordinate system usage-related trainings.
Communications:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies and key messages tailored for relevant stakeholder groups.
- Research, write, edit, and measure all types of communication materials to ensure clear and concise messaging.
- Coordinate internal communications across workstreams and with corporate communications teams.
- Continually review and establish best practice guidelines for communication and engagement.
Requirements and Skills:
Technical:
- Proven work experience as a Training Manager supporting systems rollouts and organizational change.
- Experience in developing technical and business course content and conducting trainings with end-users.
- Knowledge of web-based learning platforms and modern educational techniques.
Non-Technical:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for a diverse audience.
- Strong stakeholder management abilities, including vendor management.
- Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of workstreams and drive initiatives forward.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Experience with SAP rollouts (S4 Hana and BPC) and change management certifications are advantageous.
Education:
- Degree holder with certification in training (e.g., Certified SAP Trainer) is a plus.
