Job Title: Coach (Freelancing/consulting assignment )
Duration: 6 months Coaching journey, with minimum 6 sessions.
Job Summary:
As a Coach, your primary responsibility is to support and guide individuals or groups in achieving their personal, professional, or organisational goals. You will employ various coaching techniques and methodologies to help participants identify their strengths, improve weaknesses, and develop action plans to enhance their performance and overall well-being. Your role is to motivate, inspire, and provide feedback to foster growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct coaching sessions with clients to assess their needs, goals, and challenges.
- Utilize active listening and effective questioning techniques to gain a deeper understanding of clients' aspirations and obstacles.
- Provide personalized coaching and create action plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual or group.
- Assist clients in setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals.
- Encourage and motivate clients to take proactive steps towards achieving their goals.
- Offer support and guidance to clients throughout their journey, providing feedback and constructive criticism when necessary.
- Help clients identify and leverage their strengths while addressing areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with clients to develop strategies to overcome obstacles and challenges.
- Monitor and track clients' progress, adjusting coaching strategies as needed.
- Foster a positive and empowering coaching relationship to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Stay up-to-date with coaching best practices and continuously improve coaching techniques.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in coaching relationships.
- Conduct coaching assessments and evaluations to measure clients' development and growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counselling, human resources, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a coach, preferably with a diverse range of clients.
- Certified coaching credentials from a recognized coaching organization (e.g., ICF, IAC, or similar) are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to think critically.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Exceptional listening skills and the ability to provide meaningful feedback.
- Goal-oriented and results-driven mindset.
- Knowledge of various coaching methodologies and techniques.
- Familiarity with personal development and leadership principles.
- Proficiency in using coaching software and tools.
